Ms. Jen
Ms. Jen brings over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, working with students from elementary through high school. She specializes in preparing students for math competitions such as AMC 8, 10, and 12, as well as standardized tests like the SSAT and SAT. In addition to test prep, Ms. Jen provides expert instruction across a wide range of school math curricula from foundational elementary and middle school math to advanced high school subjects including Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus. Her teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational skills, nurturing problem-solving confidence, and fostering long-term academic growth.
Ms. Jen holds a B.S. from Tsinghua University in China and an M.S. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Before transitioning to education, she worked in the financial industry, focusing on technology and data analytics—experience that sharpened her analytical teaching style and brings real-world context to the classroom. Her academic background and professional experience make her a trusted mentor for learners at all levels.
Mr. Henry
Mr. Henry brings extensive experience in preparing students for standardized tests such as the SAT and SSAT/ISEE, consistently helping them reach their full potential. As a passionate language learner fluent in multiple languages, he brings a unique, multicultural perspective to teaching English.
Mr. Henry combines a deep understanding of the reading and writing components of the SAT with proven test-taking strategies to help students strengthen both their language skills and test performance. His lessons emphasize critical reading, analytical thinking, and effective writing techniques—all essential for success on standardized exams and beyond.
Mr. Henry is a graduate of UW-Eau Claire and he holds a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and has worked in the financial industry, consulting, and technology sectors, bringing a well-rounded, real-world approach to his instruction.

1. Do I need to pay at the time of registration?
No, payment is not required at the time of registration. After you register, we will follow up by email with payment instructions and available options.
2. Can I take only Math or only English classes?
Yes! If you are interested in just one subject—Math or English—we offer a discounted rate for single-subject enrollment. Please contact us to learn more about your options.
3. What if the class schedule doesn’t work for me?
No problem. You can still register and let us know your preferred time slots. We’ll do our best to adjust the schedule based on the majority's availability. Plus, all sessions are recorded, so you won’t miss out even if you can’t attend live.
4. What discount options are available?
